Mercedes-Benz x Superplastic

In 2023, Superplastic partnered with Mercedes-Benz to launch an updated version of their mascot the Wackeldackel, renamed and re-imagined as the Superdackel. The multi-faceted campaign included a 60-second animated short film featuring the new and improved Superdackel, taken under the wing of Superplastic’s animated celebrities Janky and Guggimon. The partnership continued later that year, to launch a luxury art toy and apparel capsule. The release of these unique pieces was celebrated at an activation hosted at Superplastic’s brick and mortar in New York City.

I oversaw the production of all 3D animated content used to support this launch. This included the updated design and 3D sculpt of the Superdackel, multiple 3D stills, and the 60-second animated short film. I managed a team of producers, negotiated costs with artists and vendors, and ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all final creative. My contributions included managing leadership team and partner feedback and approvals, as well as ensuring content quality from pre to post production.
